The Configuration Management module in Euthymia is a multi-module and multi-technology comprehensive solution for inventory of logical and physical network elements and support of network planning process. It is designed to manage the configuration of the mobile network elements in a planned manner, that works with any network technology, and with all types of networks.
The Configuration Management module in Euthymia is, at its core, intended for maintaining the CMDB, which is a database that contains all relevant information about customer assets (referred to as Configuration Items, or CIs) installed across the infrastructure environment, together with data that describes the relationships and inter-connectivity between CIs.
As built-in workflow engine supports the processes related to network management, including the other modules from Euthymia (CC, PM, IM, ...), it helps CSPs to enable successful network transformation. Subsequently, the CM module reduces the time and cost of frequent network modifications and adjustments caused by changing traffic conditions or introduction of new services and network technologies. Furthermore, it significantly reduces the workload of Network Departments.
